Brownie & Philly

Visited friend in Philly. Their apartment was very beautiful and comfortable. The guest room was like a hotel room.  Brownie is their toy poodle. He was so cute and he likes to kiss.

The Standard Grill

Brunch at The Standard Grill.  The hottest restaurant in town now. They just opened recently next to the Standard Hotel in the Meatpacking district under the HighLine.   I love the doggie kissing salt & pepper set.  They sell them for $15 each but too bad I cannot find papillons.

The Meatpacking area is getting so popular even I saw two couples went there to take wedding pictures today.

凹カステラ

Went to Kazu's 凹カステラ cafe in 麻布十番.  The カステラ was really soft and tasty but I especially like the "魔法のcoffee".   The cream on top just never mix with the coffee.

On my way there, the yakitori place called あべちゃん looked so good. I had one 鳥の皮 for just 150yen.  So good!

Last day in Tokyo

Today Avi is going back to Israel. We had lunch at the Hyatt Italian restaurant. Kazu gave him his new book. I also got a few copies. He wrote about his career in Starbucks and also talked about Sabon. : )

At night, I met up with Nemoto-san. Finally we get to drink sake together. We had been talking about it for years, seriously. We had a good time. I gave her a Sabon soap as gift and she gave me a jam as well. I love the package!

L'ATELIER de Joel Robuchon

Dinner at L'ATELIER de Joel Robuchon in Roppongi Hills with Avi, Zigi and Amit. It was last night for Avi & Zigi in town. The dinner was really good. By the way, Sakamoto Ryuichi-san was sitting next to our table.
